A gate valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a valve bonnet, a valve wedge, a valve stem, a valve seat and packing, which is one of the most common valves in isolation valves. The main purpose of the gate valve is to cut off the fluid. The movement direction of the wedge is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid.
